Passport to Suvannaphoum's Contemporary Temple Fair issue
The eighties was a time when new technological media like the black & white television, game arcades in shopping complex, etc. were being introduced. For kids, it was undeniably a very exciting time; yet, they paled into insignificance when the temple carnival first came to town with the giant ferris wheel, the merry-go-round, bumper cars and more. Though the recent time has a bit changes of subjects in the carnival, its charms still remain which kids cannot find from those popular PC games or funny iPhone's applications.
SPECIAL FEATURE
The should-not-be-made clamorous noise raises its voice in the place which is considered a space where ordinary people agree to forsake their hustle and bustle worlds to become monks – or 'temple' in other words. When a huge white canvas of midfield outdoor theater is spread, amplifiers are set, colorful light bulbs are lit, and the candy floss, carousel, Ferris Wheel and coyote girls are ready to please all visitors, an exultant ambience spills all over the monastic boundary.

ARTIST TALK
A talk with the worldwide famous Japanese dancing performance's director – Hiroshi Koike from Pappa Tarahumaru.

SUVANNAPHOUM FEATURE
Visit Siem Reap, Cambodia to admire the beautiful red sandstone Khmer palace and its bas-relief portrayed the stories of Hindu myths.
